Beyond the Exam: How Klaviyo Academy Turns Its Certificate Program into Growth

Most customer education teams can report how many learners finished a course or passed a final exam. Far fewer can show leadership what happened next: whether learners shared what they earned, came back for more, or got real value from it.

Klaviyo Academy built its certificate program to answer those questions. About 70% of Academy learners have been certified, and 66% share their credential on LinkedIn. Six months after earning a certificate, 20% of survey respondents report a raise or higher income. And since relaunching its certificates around learner roles and making them required for agency partners, the team has issued nearly as many in three months as in all of 2025.
